Human Value Recruitment is a company operating in the field of recruitment.

The terms “HVR” or “we” refer to the company Human Value Recruitment S.R.L., as well as any affiliated company registered in Romania. Additionally, in expressly provided cases, HVR may also refer to any affiliated company registered within or outside the European Economic Area.

The term “you” refers to the user of our website.

The term “Site” refers to our website.

In order to efficiently provide its services, HVR collects personal data based on the type of service offered and the purpose of the collection.

HVR is committed to complying with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (European Regulation 2016/679/EU).

HVR has implemented organizational and technical security procedures to ensure the confidentiality, transparency, integrity, and availability of personal data and to comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation by:

Managing all information in paper or electronic format responsibly and professionally; Ensuring effective communication channels; Ensuring, as much as possible, the accuracy and updating of personal data; Implementing organizational and technical measures to limit access to personal data, reduce the risk of disclosure of personal data, and protect personal data in electronic and paper format; Processing, through a transparent process, personal data based on your consent or based on our legitimate interests or to comply with contractual or legal obligations; Respecting your decision regarding the collection, use, restriction, deletion, and sharing of information about you.

 

Personal information we may collect from you

We will collect personal information when you visit the Site, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, IP address, web logs, the content of online correspondence or discussions, and other communication-related data and resources you access. Collecting this personal information will facilitate your future visits to the Site, as we can suggest relevant content to you based on where you access the Site from.

We will collect all the information you transmit to us when you contact us by email. In particular, this personal data includes name, surname, email address, phone number.

In order to respond to your requests, questions, comments, or complaints, we sometimes need certain personal data, so it is necessary for you to provide them to us. Other information or personal data you transmit to us by email is at your discretion. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence.

When you apply for a job by uploading your CV, we will collect your personal data mentioned in the CV. Please note that when you send us your CV, it will be automatically transmitted to the HVR database. You can choose to no longer be involved in one or more recruitment processes or withdraw your consent at any time.

How we use your personal data

Your personal data will be collected and managed by HVR for the following purposes:

• to customize content and resources according to your preferences as much as possible;
• to develop and improve the Site and its systems to serve you better;
• to improve HVR’s services;
• to respond to your requests, questions, comments, or complaints when you contact us;
• to communicate with you in a personalized manner, e.g.,
• to respond to our feedback requests or to respond to your requests, questions, comments, or complaints;
• for recruitment for any position corresponding to your qualifications and experience, whether it is open within one of the HVR companies or with a potential employer, from Romania or abroad;
• to keep you informed about our business developments, commercial offers, and job offers through our newsletter.

The use of your personal data in the ways described above is permitted by the applicable data protection law because it is:

• necessary for our legitimate interests in pursuing the purposes outlined above;
• required in some cases to fulfill our legal obligations and responsibilities, such as providing information to authorities, government bodies, or regulators;
• in limited circumstances, processed based on your consent, which we obtained beforehand, such as when you opt for recruitment or to receive marketing communications.

We do not make solely automated decisions based on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

The retention periods for your personal data depend on the purpose for which they are processed. The criteria used to determine the applicable retention period are that we will keep the personal data set out in this policy for as long as (i) necessary for that purpose, (ii) necessary for conducting the business or collaboration relationship with you, (iii) you have given your consent, and/or (iv) required by applicable laws regarding the retention of personal data.

 

Processing your personal data for recruitment purposes

HVR is involved in several human resources projects, both internally and for our clients, and has various other partnerships, so if you are looking for a job or are interested in participating in various recruitment projects, you can provide your consent to the processing of personal data for this purpose.

You have the option to give your consent by checking the box corresponding to this processing purpose, namely the one regarding recruitment for any position corresponding to your qualifications and experience, whether it is open within one of the HVR companies or with a potential employer, from Romania or abroad. Please note that your personal data may also be transmitted to our affiliates located in the European Economic Area.

When you apply for a job, regardless of the method you choose to send us your CV (e.g., apply using the account created on the Site, where you have already uploaded your CV, or apply directly by uploading your CV), we will collect your personal data mentioned in the CV.

Please note that when you upload a CV on the Site, regardless of the method of sending the CV, it will be automatically transmitted to the HVR database.

The personal data we collect and process are the data mentioned in your CV, as well as data resulting from our interaction with you regarding recruitment (e.g., following discussions, regardless of the means of communication; during interviews; as a result of feedback, etc.). The personal data we usually collect include, but are not limited to:

• name and surname, date and place of birth, nationality, contact details (e.g., home address/residence, phone number, email address, etc.), profession, education, qualifications, experience, the name and other details of former and current employers, skills (e.g., PC operation, driver’s license, etc.), knowledge of foreign languages, hobbies, photo, etc.;
• current salary/income, as well as salary expectations;
• your feedback on our services and on certain employers or potential employers;
• feedback from former, current, and potential employers;
• details regarding adaptations that need to be made at the workplace, whatever the reason (e.g., disabilities, a certain work schedule, etc.), if you request this;
• certain sensitive personal data (in addition to those mentioned above), if necessary for the recruitment process and permitted by law.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data, but for us, it would not be possible to work with you or offer our services if you do not provide us with the necessary minimum of data. Additionally, it may limit the services we provide if, in certain cases, you choose to provide us with limited personal data.

You can withdraw at any time from being involved in one or more recruitment processes or withdraw your consent.

If you wish to no longer be involved in one or more recruitment processes, you can send us an email at office@hvrecruitment.com, requesting this, specifying the recruitment processes you no longer wish to participate in. Please note that in this situation, your personal data will continue to remain on the Site and in our database, in order to be involved in other recruitment processes later.

If you wish to withdraw your consent, you can either send us an email at office@hvrecruitment.com requesting this. The consequence of withdrawing your consent is the deletion of your personal data from the Site (which includes deleting all your personal data that is found on the Site), as well as the personal data that have been transmitted to our database, respectively those collected later. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the consent before its withdrawal.

Your personal data will be kept and processed for as long as you are legally active in the labor market, namely until reaching the legal retirement age of 65. This period may be extended in cases where you wish to do so, based on a separate consent.

Recipients of Personal Data

We inform you that we disclose your personal data to third parties, but such disclosure only occurs under the situations and conditions mentioned below. The recipients of personal data are:

• Providers performing services related to the Website (e.g., hosting and/or maintenance and/or development of the Website and its content, etc.). These providers are located in Romania or in the European Economic Area and only have access to your personal data required to fulfill the contracted services. These recipients will adhere to contractual obligations of confidentiality.
• HVR affiliated companies located in the European Economic Area.
• Potential employers, from Romania or the European Economic Area, in case we involve you in a recruitment process.
• Government authorities, to fulfill our legal obligations.

Storage of Personal Data

Additionally, we inform you that your personal data is stored on servers located within the territories of the member states of the European Economic Area.

HVR processes the personal data for the recruitment purposes outlined above based on:

• the processing being necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract (e.g., regarding the conclusion and execution of a labor contract);
• the processing being necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (e.g., to fulfill the legal obligations regarding labor relations, to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, etc.);
• the processing being necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party (e.g., to ensure the safety and security of employees and the assets of the company, to prevent fraud, etc.);
• and the processing being based on the consent of the data subject (e.g., when you expressly consent to certain processing activities, such as to receive newsletters or other marketing communications, etc.).

We will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, in accordance with the legal, contractual, and/or business obligations we have, and in accordance with your consent.

We may also use your personal data to send you newsletters or other marketing communications that may be of interest to you if you have agreed to this.

Please note that you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or by using the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of any email we send you or through the settings available in your account (if you have an account on our Site).

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Your rights regarding the processing of your personal data

As a data subject, you have certain rights regarding the processing of your personal data. These rights include, but are not limited to:

• the right of access to personal data;
• the right to rectify or update personal data;
• the right to delete personal data (“the right to be forgotten”);
• the right to restrict the processing of personal data;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to object to the processing of personal data;

HVR, according to applicable law, offers free access and/or obtaining of copies regarding personal data only for the first 3 (three) requests of the same type related to the same information. Otherwise, access and/or obtaining of copies will be subject to a fee, which HVR evaluates at 70 Euros per request, this amount may be updated.

Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, namely the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro).

 

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version on our Site. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are satisfied with any changes to this policy. We may also notify you of changes to this policy by email.
